Treatment of Gum Disease

Healthy smiles speak for themselves.

Periodontal therapy is a non-surgical, non-invasive, procedure used to treat active gum disease. During this process, specialized instruments are used to remove harmful bacteria and calculus build up from beneath the gums.

Periodontal maintenance visits are recommended as follow up to periodontal therapy in order to prevent the bacteria from reaching a point where they start harming the gums and surrounding bone.

Laser bacterial reduction therapy is used where high intensity light is focused around the teeth to kill harmful bacteria associated with periodontal disease.
