Meet Dr. Robitaille
Philip M. Robitaille, DDS is a native of New Bedford, MA and graduated from Bishop Stang High School in 1969. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Bridgewater State College in 1973, followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Northwestern university in Chicago in 1977. From there, in 1979, he established his dental practice in Somerset, MA where he has been providing advanced restorative and preventative dentistry in a high-tech environment ever since.
Dr. Robitaille has been an active service provider and board member to the locally originated nonprofit group, Missions for Humanity since 2004. The Fall River based nonprofit is dedicated to providing medical, dental and humanitarian aid to those in the world’s neediest communities. Since 2004, Dr. Robitaille has traveled with the mission group annually to rural Honduras in Central America and Tanzania in Africa. He is the recipient of several awards as a result of his volunteerism, including the BankFive Hometown Hero Award, the Massachusetts Dental Society William McKenna Volunteer Hero Award, and the Lions Club Humanitarian Award. Through philanthropic service, Dr. Robitaille feels we all can find real personal success and he considers his position to serve his patients as a licensed professional in the community to be a privilege.
